Call for Papers

Since I have 5 tcl/tk based projects on sourceforge, I was invited to submit a paper, but, I don’t feel I have much to offer yet.   After all, I’m primarily a translator, and my hacking skills, tcl or otherwise, are still pretty rudimentary.  I’m a hacker wannabe, with much to learn.

I do love Tcl, all the same, and try to do my part to promote the language. It’s powerful, easy to learn, versatile. I don’t really understand why it doesn’t see more widespread use. I suppose languages like python and perl have kind of supplanted it, in some ways. Shame that.   Tcl/Tk is great stuff!
